An Update To The Planned vs Rogue Premiere
Hey friends! If you tune into the Planned vs Rogue YouTube page from 6pm Wednesday February 28th (AEST) you will be able to watch the first ever episode of our competitive action travel show which is set in beautiful Berlin.
Unfortunately, we’ve had to delay the release of episode two and three which take place in Milan and Antwerp respectively. This is a decision we did not make lightly and did so in conjunction with our hardworking and forward thinking production team General Experiments.
We are aware we have promoted the release of our first three episodes on Feb 28th and apologise unreservedly to our growing group of dedicated frontier supporters for this change.
So why was this change made?
Basically, some last minute advice from our sales team suggested the show might be an easier sell to sponsors if we release our videos more steadily than in one big bang. Currently, we have 11 episodes in the tank and rather than releasing three in one go we’ve been informed it would be beneficial to the marketability of the show if we start with just one.
Currently, our sales team is following up on some lucrative leads and with more episodes in the tank the more appealing the team will be for potential sponsors, collaborators and affiliates.
It was advice that Katie and I believe was made not only in our best interest but in the interest of the success of the show and our soon to be viewers. If we are able to make the show financially viable we will be able to create more videos for years to come rather than tapering off quickly because it’s not sustainable.
Will the other two episodes be released?
Yes! A new episode of Planned vs Rogue will be coming out every second Wednesday starting with Berlin on 28.02.24, followed by Milan on 13.03.24, Antwerp on 27.03.24 and so on and on as we travel the world.
In between releases we plan to keep you entertained with comprehensive episode guides to recreate our day, the places we enjoyed when we weren’t shooting, updates on future releases and all other types of travel musings, tips and ramblings from this big bulbous world.
Sorry for the disappointment I am certain you are experiencing. We hope to make it up to you with a long running and successful travel show.
Big cheers,
Benny
